VINATOUR was established in 1960 as an Organ of the Vietnam National Tourism Company.
In 1982, the Organ was developed into an Inbound Orienting Company, being the first state-owned International Tour Operator in Vietnam.
In 1993, according to the Vietnamese Government Degree No.388/CP and the Decision No. 86/ QD-TCCB signed on 27 March 1993, the Company was reorganized as an Vietnam National Travel Agency (so-called VINATOUR) which functionally handling both Inbound and Outbound business.
In September 2005, VINATOUR had fulfilled its course of equitization, officially coming into operation as an International Tourism & Trade Joint Stock Company.
2010 marks 50 years of Vinatour’s establishment and development.
